Who We Are
We are a Houston-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) that helps construction, engineering, oil & gas/energy, and manufacturing companies run secure and reliable IT systems.
Our sales team wins new business through proactive outreach, strong discovery, and disciplined sales process. We have a pipeline generation engine and are looking for the right person to help drive it.
The Role
This is a true HUNTER role.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for outbound prospecting and creating qualified sales opportunities for our outside sales team.
This is not a networking role. It is an opportunity creation role. Your job is not to maintain relationships or attend networking events. Your job is to create opportunities where none existed before.
You will cold call, research prospects, reach decision makers, identify potential IT frustrations, and book qualified First-Time Appointments (FTAs) for our outside sales representatives.
This is the entry point into our sales organization. High performers will be promoted into Outside Sales roles where they will close deals and manage revenue.
Performance Expectations
Candidates who succeed in this role typically:
- Make 100 outbound calls per day
- Generate 2+ qualified meetings per week within the first 90 days
- Generate 3–4 qualified meetings per week within 6 months
- Thrive in competitive, performance-driven environments
Candidates uncomfortable with high outbound activity or measurable sales targets will likely not enjoy this role.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 90 days:
- Consistently generate 2 qualified FTAs per week
Within 6 months:
- Consistently generate 3–4 qualified FTAs per week
Top performers:
- Generate 15+ qualified meetings per month
- Become candidates for Outside Sales promotion
Your Responsibilities
- Cold call targeted companies in our core industries
- Identify and reach decision makers (owners, presidents, CFOs, operations leaders, IT leaders)
- Ask smart questions to determine if the company is a fit
- Disqualify companies that are not a fit
- Identify potential IT pain points
- Schedule qualified 45–60 minute discovery meetings for outside sales reps
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Confirm meetings to ensure attendance

Preferred Background
- B2B sales experience (especially outbound prospecting)
- SDR, BDR, or appointment-setting experience preferred
- Experience selling to construction, engineering, manufacturing, or energy companies is highly valued
